Annual General Meeting 2009 Report

24 - 25 April 2009 at Phukhangam Resort, Nakornnayok

Les Clefs d'Or Thailand has organized Annual General Meeting at Phukhaongam Resort in Nakornnayok province from 24th to 25th of April 2009. There were 103 members attended the meeting this year.

The main purposes of the meeting are to share the success of all sections activities that have been done from January 2008 to March 2009 such as sport activities, donation activities, see town activities, training activities, workshop, treasurer report and etc.,

This time, our AGM has some special activities that the Executive Committee would like to announce and needs approval from all members:

1.Promotion of our Adherent members to International full member
2.Announcement of "Father of Thai Concierge"
3.Announcement of "Thai Concierge Day"
4.Constitution review
5.Election of new Executive Committee members

There were 7 Adherent members have been promoted to International Full members:
1.Khun Pussamon from Ascott Bangkok Sathorn
2.Khun Prasert from Dusit Princess Srinakarin
3.Khun Parkphoom from Grand Mercure Fortune
4.Khun Pimnada from JW Marriott
5.Khun Preecha from Peninsula Bangkok
6.Khun Maitree from Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit
7.Khun Prapanpong from Westin Grande Sukhumvit

Khun Suphan, our founder and the first Thai golden key has been appointed as the "Father of Thai Concierge".

All members approved that January 26 of each year is our "Thai Concierge Day". We have got an approval from U.I.C.H. Les Clefs d'Or to announce that we are one of the national section of U.I.C.H. and no longer under the umbrella of Les Clefs d'Or Singapore on January 26, 2005 during the International Congress U.I.C.H. Les Clefs d'Or in Manila, Philippines.

Some articles of our constitution have been added and revised by all members, such as the Executive Committee status and procedures of the election.

Members have elected the new Executive Committee to run the organization from 2009 to 2011. Only 5 positions have been elected according to our constitution and the results are as follows:

1. The President is Khun Suwit, Chief Concierge of The Twin Towers.
2. The Vice President is Khun Somkiat, Chief Concierge of Royal Orchid Sheraton and Tower.
3. Honorary Secretary is Khun Wirachai, Chief Concierge of Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok.
4. Treasurer is Khun Surachai, Assistant Chief Concierge of Banyan Tree Bangkok.
5. Public Relation Officer is Khun Kasem, Chief Concierge of The Sukhothai Bangkok.
For the rest of Executive Committee members will be recruited later and will be officially announced during the monthly meeting in May 2009.

Big thanks to AGM organizing team members for their dedication and well prepared. Everything were in controlled and well managed for the "Soldier Night" all activities; show, Mcee, music, drinks and dinner. Not much to say just "Perfected".
